The club is situated on the edge of the village of Blackwaterfoot on the west side of the Isle of Arran. It is reached via a small road that runs parallel with the beach off the A841 - the road that runs around the outside of the island. Blackwaterfoot itself is at the western end of the B880 (known as "The String") which traverses the island from the main centre and ferry port of Brodick.

Buses 322, 323, 324 and the Postbus run to the Kinloch Hotel in Blackwaterfoot, which is about 5 minutes walk from the course. More information is available from Strathclyde Passenger Transport.

 

Getting to Arran

By car: From the south of the UK, head for the M74, then the A71 turn off at Strathaven. Continue on to Irvine, then take the A78 to Ardrossan and the Ferry terminal. From the north of Scotland or western isles, you can catch the summer‑only ferry service from Claonaig (mainland) to Lochranza (north Arran). By train
: Trains from Glasgow Central run in conjunction with ferry sailings from Ardrossan. The train journey lasts about 55 minutes.
