Destination Arran

www.visitarran.com…find out how you can spend your island time on Arran and let us bring Arran Alive for you.

The Isle of Arran is truly a magical Island. Only 55 minutes by ferry from Ayrshire, you arrive to a stunning and diverse Island. The North has rugged mountains with U shaped valleys, and lochs. While the South has rolling hills and is in contrast to the North, thus Arran is known as “Scotland in minature”.

There is a great variety of walking on Arran, from a short gentle stroll along the beach to serious mountaneering.

Have a look at…

  • Hillwalking on Arran
  • Arran Wild Walks

The Isle of Arran is a great destination for a holiday, with plenty to see & do. The varied scenery of the Island will keep you spellbound during your visit. A drive round the Island is a must, exploring all the villages, each with its own unique charm. Brodick, Lamlash and Whiting Bay are where most of the people stay, but the rest of the Island is far more rural.

As well as golf there is amazing scenery, history (castles), walking, wildlife, fishing, adventure activities, and all in all the island is very well set up for your visit.
