Buses on the Isle of Arran
Buses (run by Stagecoach) go to & from every Ardrossan – Brodick ferry. There is a bus stop only 300m (less than a 5 minute walk) from Shiskine Golf Club – string road, north end & south end buses all stop in Blackwaterfoot.

Winter or Summer:
Take the Ardrossan – Brodick ferry, run by Caledonian MacBrayne. Turn right out of the harbour and drive through Brodick on the A841 coastal road with the sea on your right. Just over 1 mile from the harbour, bear left on to the B880 (know locally as “The String”). It is about 25 minutes across “The String” to get to Blackwaterfoot. Drive past the harbour / Kinloch and just after that take a left fork along Shore Road and you will find us.
Summer only:
Take the Claonaig – Lochranza car ferry Cal – Mac to the north of the Island, motor south down the A841 coastal road for 17 miles. Blackwaterfoot is about a 40 minute drive down the coast.
