Local Rules

A ball is out of bounds if it lies:
beyond the the fences running parallel with the shore at 1st, 6th and 7th.
beyond the boundary fences at 2nd, 4th. and 11th
on the path to the left of the 12th fairway.
on the gravel in front of the clubhouse.

on the practice putting green.
A free drop of one club length
from the nearest point of relief will be allowed :
for a ball which lies on the dirt track which runs from the 1st medal tee to Drumadoon entrance ( i.e. the side of the road which the ball is nearest).

A drop under penalty of one shot
will be allowed for:

for a ball which lies on all man-made tracks and steps (i.e. 3rd, 4th, 8th and 11th).

for a ball which lies on all tractor tracks (2 club lengths not nearer the hole).

a ball lying against the fence at 1st, 6th and 7th may be dropped within 2 club lengths not nearer the hole .

for a ball landing on the apron of the wrong putting green or on a tee.

(on the 6th fairway only) if the ball should come to rest on blown sand

a ball lying in the burn near the 7th green may be lifted and dropped on the hole side of the hazard within 2 club lengths.

if tee markers, hole markers, benches or shelters should impede the players swing or stance.
